Meadows Golf Club

First time playing Meadows since it became public and I was impressed with the layout and conditions. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape. Greens were a little sandy, but they rolled true and were consistent from hole to hole. Fun and interesting layout that makes you play certain shots to certain areas while not being unfair. Pace of play was great with an early weekend tee time. Staff was friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable making the Meadows a good value. I will definitely be back!

The Meadows Golf Club in Sarasota is a great place to play. I used to play the old Highlands Course and always enjoyed the relaxed layout and overall atmosphere. Even now, The Meadows continues to deliver a great local golf experience. The carts are amazing, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the club has a welcoming feel from the moment you arrive. It’s a solid spot for anyone looking to enjoy a round of golf in Sarasota with good service and a comfortable, well-run environment. Highly recommend The Meadows Golf Club.

Played yesterday and the course is in really great shape. The greens putted smooth and true. All the staff was supper friendly........The only improvement needed is location of the pins on the greens. You can do different colored flags for front, middle and back or small flags on the flag stick that you can slide up and down to give us a location or your new fancy golf carts need to add the pin placement locations on it. Your new huge greens so nice........Glad you are back!!!! We will be back.......

Meadows Golf is back!!! And for some of us, the worrisome and difficult events over the last few years has happily turned out to be a blessing in disguise. On behalf of Benderson Development, nationally renowned golf management company, Century Golf was brought in to bring this 50 plus year old Sarasota gem back to the pristine course condition it had enjoyed for decades. And operationally, Century has begun to assemble a first rate staff highlighted by naming Jarrad Welikonich as Director of Golf. Jarrad is very well known to the community. He has the personal touch and familiarity with The Meadows that has given everyone who has been part of the past experience there the encouragement that golf has returned and will be better than ever. The joy and excitement is palpable. Importantly, Benderson has already shown the significant financial commitment needed, as deferred maintenance is now being addressed aggressively. Century’s experience and attention to the right priorities is amazing to witness. New golf carts arrived almost immediately, and they invested significantly for maintenance equipment so desperately needed. The grounds crew is beyond grateful and happy. They had pre

The Meadows Golf Course is back, even better than before! I've lived in the Meadows since 1991, and have played golf here since 2013. After the demise of the Meadows Country Club in 2025, there were a lot of questions as to whether the golf course would ever open again, and if it did, what condition it would be in. Fortunately, the Meadows Community Association continued to maintain the course during its 6-month closure, so that when it re-opened in November of 2025, it was in surprisingly good shape, especially the greens. And now that Century Golf / Arnold Palmer Golf Management are running things - with all new course-maintenance equipment - the positive changes in just the past month or so keep getting better. The greens were just aerated in late May, but are already recovering. Many of the fairways are like carpet, and the tee boxes are being worked on as well, with new sod in plentiful supply. The Bermuda rough can be penal so the best recommendation is to keep it on the short stuff. Speaking of new equipment, one has to mention the new golf carts, equipped with GPS as well as a ball & club washer. Can't forget the staff! From the smiling faces of all the guys at the bag
